The LTS version of the Nissan Skyline GT-R is one of the most powerful cars ever built.
Its 3.7-liter, twin-turbocharged inline-four delivers the grunt of a Ferrari 458 GTB, but also a level of performance not seen in a car of this type for many years.
With the LTS Skyline, Nissan decided to upgrade the engine’s internals.
Its internals have changed from the 4-valve, two-cylinder Skyline to a 3.0-liter V6 with six valves per cylinder, as well as a new turbocharger.
The engine now has a boost pressure of 1,000 psi.
The new turbo also has an optional boost pressure to 2,000.
Nissan’s Skyline LTS engine is now available for $6,495.
The Skyline has a 5-speed manual transmission, a four-wheel disc brakes, and a power steering system that can also be upgraded with Active Brake Assist.
